Any country’s economic base is largely dependent on foreign trade. This research examines the relationship between imports and export and economic development. This research seeks to analyze the foreign trade growth trend and evaluate how Nepal’s economy is influenced by exports, imports. The ARDL model has been applied to investigate the impact of foreign trade on Nepal’s economic progress. The study draws on data from the years 2000/01 to 2022/23. Empirical evidence suggests that there is a stable long-term relationship between economic growth and foreign trade.
